How much beard oil do I use?
Start with a few drops. Rub it between your hands, work it through your beard, and get some down to the skin underneath.
Shorter beard? Use less. Big ol’ mountain-man beard? You may need a little more.
Don’t drown the thing.
When should I use it?
Whenever your beard needs it.
A lot of folks like using beard oil after a shower when the beard is clean and slightly damp, but morning, night, or before heading out all work just fine.
Is beard oil just for the beard?
Nope. Work it through the beard and down to the skin underneath.
Will beard oil make my beard grow faster?
We don’t make beard-growth claims.

We make beard oil, not miracle fertilizer.
What does it feel like?
It’s an oil, so a little goes a long way.
Use the right amount and work it through evenly instead of pouring half the bottle on your face like you’re seasoning a cast-iron skillet.
How strong are the scents?
Our scents are made to be noticeable without trying to announce your arrival from three counties away.
Scent strength and how long a fragrance hangs around can vary from person to person.
Do all the scents use the same oil blend?
Our beard oils use the same core carrier blend unless a product page specifically says otherwise.
The fragrance changes depending on the scent.

Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?
Everybody’s skin is different.
Check the full ingredient list before use, especially if you know you’re sensitive or allergic to certain oils or fragrances.
We recommend testing a small amount first and discontinuing use if irritation occurs.
What if I get it in my eyes?
Don’t.
But if you do, rinse thoroughly with water.
Beard oil belongs on the beard, not in your eyeballs.
Is it for external use only?
Yep.
External use only.
Your beard drinks it. You don’t.
How should I store it?
Keep the bottle tightly closed and store it somewhere cool and dry, away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
Your bathroom counter is fine.
The dashboard of your truck in August is not.
How long does a bottle last?
That depends on the size of your beard and how much you use.
Since you only need a few drops at a time, one bottle can last quite a while for most people.
Do you test your scents before selling them?
Yep.
We test our blends before launch and keep batch records as part of our production process.
We’d rather do the homework before a bottle ever reaches your beard.
Are your oils made in the USA?
Bearded Hillbilly Co. products are hand-poured in the USA.
Do you offer samples or trials?
From time to time, yep.
Trial sizes, tester opportunities, and special drops may be announced through our website and social pages.
Do you have seasonal scents?
You bet.
Some scents may only crawl out of the holler for certain seasons, so when a seasonal drop is gone, it may be gone for a while.
How fast do orders ship?
Our current processing and shipping times will always be listed in our Shipping Policy and during checkout.

Can I return beard oil?
Because beard oil is a personal-care product, return eligibility can depend on whether the product has been opened or used.
